A Message From Our Founders:
We have been watching the events unfold in the United States and cannot sit by silently. We feel it’s important to speak out against the racism and bigotry that unfortunately still persists after hundreds of years battling for equality. It is important, now more than ever, for us to all unite and show globally we are in this fight together.
AB Tasty is rooted in kindness. We feel you have all helped us create a company where diversity, acceptance, and belonging are embraced and celebrated. AB Tasty is full of color, and it’s all of our differences which make us the great team we are today. We couldn’t grow so fast if it wasn’t for learning from each other’s cultures and experiences. We wouldn’t trade anything for that in the world. Now we must come together, even while we are distanced, to support any colleagues who may need additional support right now. If you’re not sure how to support, start by listening. If a teammate is processing, allow them that time they may need. We need to educate our children, family, friends, and maybe even ourselves. These acts of kindness and togetherness will be the change needed to overcome this fight.
While we feel AB Tasty has inherently been at our core diverse and accepting, we want to take this time to put words into action and do even more. We cannot be better and do more without your support and input. Tell us if you have an idea of something we can do as a company, as a team, to make an even greater impact. We are speaking out and we are also listening. Our aim is not to follow a current trend. Our aim is to raise our voice to make a permanent change.
To put words into action we have committed to matching funds raised by our team to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and stand as an ally.
