Right now, most of us are spending as much time at home as humanly possible, to help stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus. And for most people, that includes working from home.
But not for everyone. Among those still fearlessly going out in the world are the nurses, doctors, and hospital staff on the front lines of this pandemic. Their bravery and dedication is truly inspiring. Although governments and the general public are finding many ways to support them – including a nightly round of applause from the windows and balconies of France – they are desperately in need of an increasing amount of support, both moral and financial.
That’s why we’ve decided to launch the WFH challenge. The rules are simple – if you’re an AB Tasty employee anywhere in the world, share a picture of your ‘work from home’ experience on social media, with the hashtag #WFHpicchallenge. For each post, AB Tasty will donate 5 euros to the World Health Organization Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund. This money will go towards:
- Sending essential supplies such as personal protective equipment to frontline health workers.
- Enabling all countries to track and detect the disease by boosting laboratory capacity through training and equipment.
- Ensuring health workers and communities everywhere have access to the latest science-based information to protect themselves, prevent infection and care for those in need.
- Accelerating efforts to fast-track the discovery and development of lifesaving vaccines, diagnostics and treatments.
